Maintenance Requests

The fastest way to address a maintenance issue is to report it online through the tenant portal. If there is fire, any threat to your safety, or late night noise complaints, please call 911.


As noted in your lease, it is the tenant’s responsibility to transfer and pay for all utilities (Gas & Electric, Trash, Water, Sewer, TV, Phone, Internet, etc.) unless otherwise stated in writing by Alta Vista Properties. Below is a list of common utility providers for San Diego. Make sure you have all utilities transferred into your name prior to your lease start date.

Renter’s Insurance Providers

Tenants are responsible for renter’s insurance in the amount of $100,000, as noted in your lease agreement. Alta Vista Properties, Inc., as well as the owner of the property you are renting, must be listed as additional insured on your policy. Renter’s Insurance must be obtained and verified by Alta Vista Properties prior to releasing the keys to your unit.
